Ranged control-and-trap kit themed on Rui's spider threads: razor strings that pin, stun and cut movement — the first demon art of the Update 1 showcase series and a would-be tenth blood demon art alongside the current nine.

What the Thread Manipulation showcase revealed

The official Ouw Productions showcase (2026-10-23) is the third entry in the Update 1 reveal series — and the first demon art of the run. Four form names appeared on the officially revealed kit sheet (Steel String Threading roster label); the October 23 showcase demonstrated the kit in motion — treat exact damage and cooldowns as unknown until the patch notes.

• Cruel String Cage — Web-and-string cage strike shown in the reveal material — pins the target inside a thread enclosure (exact numbers not shown).
• Thread Guillotine — Cutting thread finisher from the revealed roster label — a clean-slice attack consistent with Rui's razor strings.
• Cutting Thread Rot — Listed on the revealed kit sheet; effect details not demonstrated publicly yet.
• Eye of the Spider — Listed on the revealed kit sheet; effect details not demonstrated publicly yet.

Thread Manipulation release date, rarity & roll odds — what is and isn't known

This page exists to give you the confirmed facts and clearly mark everything else as unknown. Several sites already quote invented roll odds for unreleased content — we will fill this table with real, in-game-verified numbers the day the patch lands.

Reasonable expectations (marked as such)

• Will presumably join the demon-path art roll pool — meaning demons will spend spins to chase it (inference from how all nine current arts work, not confirmed).
• Rarity/roll odds TBA — nothing announced; do not trust any site quoting a percentage.
• Wielder attribution TBA — Rui is the obvious thematic source (the kit is built on his spider threads), but the game has not confirmed an in-game wielder.
• Internal testing evidence: match entries for "Thread" already appear in the PvP win-rate channel alongside "Beast" — the kit is being balanced, not just concepted.
