Slayers 2 Leveling Guide: 1 to Max Level 225

The max level in Slayers 2 is 225. A strong start saves hours of backtracking: the route below follows the documented quest chain, with the two big gates (breathing at 25, faction quests at 62) called out. Follow it in order, but stay flexible — a quest you can clear consistently always beats a boss that keeps killing you.

Before you leave the starting village

The two faction splits

At 62 the route forks. Slayers should have Final Selection done (enterable at 45, recommended around 60 for a solo run) and continue through the Slayer quest line; demons work the Muzan route and farm Misenoto targets. Both paths rejoin at the level 75 cave quests and share the snow region from 90. The full comparison is in Demon or Slayer.

Grinding efficiently after 125

From 125, the repeatable faction quests (Crow for Slayers, Muzan for demons) become the backbone — their reported rewards scale with the stronger players on your server, so a populated high-level server pays better. Rotate quest acceptances with world bosses and Ouwigahara runs to keep gear and mastery moving alongside EXP. Beware aggressive weapon refinement while levelling: community reports describe real downgrade odds and expensive materials — save stones and ore for a weapon worth keeping.

The two travel systems

Levelling speed past the early game is mostly a travel problem. Two systems fix it: shrines are the fast-travel points (a reported 15,000 Wen to unlock — unlock every one you pass), and horses (reported 15,000 Wen, spawning in towns roughly every 30 minutes) cover open-ground distance between objectives. The snow region is the wake-up call: without the Emberheart Lantern charged at campfires, Iceveil drains your health the entire time. Plan the lantern before level 90 — see the Yeti guide.

Server choice matters

A documented quirk: quest rewards reportedly scale with the strength of eligible players on your server, so a populated high-level server assigns better-paying Crow and Muzan quests. The trade-off is competition for spawns and quest targets. The community pattern: level in a quieter server, then swap to a strong server for the 125+ repeatable loop — and server-hop whenever a required boss is stuck, bugged, or camped.

Skill tree notes

Skill points come from levelling; the Skill Tree spends them on breathing forms, movement and weapon nodes. Priority order for most builds: the movement pair (Wall Climb, Double Jump), your style's first two forms, then damage or survivability depending on whether bosses or players are killing you. Since V0.18, clan skill-tree progress survives a clan reroll — so you can keep rolling clans without losing that investment.

Mastery after 225

The cap is 225, but progression doesn't stop: rewards that used to advance levels convert into mastery for your weapons and style. The documented route is the same loop — Crow/Muzan quests plus Ouwigahara, whose points exchange into mastery XP at the Tower Crystal (a reported 3,500 points per 1,000 mastery). Community reports describe a ~90-minute normal dungeon run reaching around 300,000 points, which funds dozens of mastery exchanges — the dungeon is the endgame engine for a reason. Double-mastery potions exist for when a specific weapon is the bottleneck; use them only after your route, party and gear are organized, never before.

Level brackets follow the community 1–225 route documented in late-September guides; exact NPC names can shift between updates.
