How to Get Wen Fast in Slayers 2

Wen pays for breathing training, weapon upgrades and travel — and the breathing fees alone run 3,500 to 7,000 Wen per style. The fastest Slayers 2 wen farming strategy combines a repeatable faction quest with boss rewards instead of relying on any single activity. Here are the documented methods with their reported numbers.

Figures are community-reported (guides collected September–October 2026) — verify current rewards in your server before committing to a long session.

The fastest loop: Mana quest + boss chests

For a character who can clear the boss reliably, the strongest documented loop is: accept Mana's demon quest (~2,000 Wen), defeat the target, open the world chest (three coin pouches), repeat until you have a stack, then sell everything at the Mistfall Harbor merchant — 750 Wen per pouch. One combat loop pays twice: quest Wen plus sellable loot.

  1. Accept Mana's quest as a demon.
  2. Defeat the quest target.
  3. Open the world chest — three guaranteed pouches.
  4. Repeat the loop and build a stack before travelling.
  5. Sell the full stack at the merchant (first visit needs his Jewelry Box errand from Hidden Mist Village).

Slayers get a comparable faction quest, but guides have not confirmed its name or payout — the same loop logic applies: quest reward plus chest loot, sold in batches. One community test found that the 2x Wen boost did not increase coin pouch sale prices, so do not buy a multiplier just for merchant runs.

Early-game wen: the Betty cycle

New characters cannot farm bosses efficiently yet. The accessible cycle: Betty's Lost Gemstone quest in Bamboo Grove pays a reported 500 Wen with a five-minute cooldown — fish at the nearby river (100–150 Wen per fish) while you wait, then repeat. Slower starters can add the village quests: a wagon delivery for 150 Wen and a rice quest for 120. Community estimates put fishing income at 5,000–15,000 Wen for half an hour to an hour and a half of casting — enough to cover your first breathing style at 5,000 Wen.

Late-game wen: dungeon points

Once Ouwigahara is unlocked (level 65 forge quest), its points exchange at a reported 100 Wen per 25 points — a 3,000-point run converts to about 12,000 Wen while also paying EXP and mastery. Demons can also run the repeatable Muzan quests on Map 2 (reported 850–1,100 Wen each, no cooldown); Slayers run the matching Kasugai Crow quests. Judge routes by the whole cycle — travel, acceptance, combat and selling — not by the reward number on screen.

Where the merchant unlock fits in

The Mistfall merchant who buys coin pouches does not buy them from your first visit: the documented prerequisite is his Jewelry Box errand — a fetch quest that sends you to Hidden Mist Village and back. Complete it once, confirm the sale option appears, and then every future pouch is liquid. Tom's bear-area quests are the other early-money staple, and selling common boss drops covers small gaps — but check whether you actually have a replacement before selling gear.

Fishing: the downtime income

Fishing deserves its own section because it converts dead time into Wen. The permit quest from Dock Master Sofen at Mistfall Harbor (reported level 45 gate) and a rod from Fisherman Jeso open the system; after that, casts pay a reported 100-150 Wen each with no combat requirement. Community estimates put a focused session at 5,000-15,000 Wen per half hour to ninety minutes — slow compared to boss loops, but it works at any level, during Final Selection waits, and during five-minute quest cooldowns (the Betty cycle above is built on exactly this). The Ghost Fisherman Isao under the red bridge at night is part of the same NPC set. Full details on the fishing system page.

What Wen actually buys

Knowing the bills makes the farming targets obvious:

A character heading to a style, a fancy katana and the V2 forge needs well over 100,000 Wen across the journey — which is why batching sales and running the Mana loop beats one-off quest rewards past level 60.
