Uzui Clan S
Supreme rarity · 0.1% roll chance per spin · 3 active skills · 5 passives
The Tengen Uzui family — the Sound Hashira's sound-based ninja kit.
Is the Uzui clan good in Slayers 2?
Yes — keep it. Technical PvP, fist and stamina-heavy builds, and levelling thanks to the quest EXP bonus. It has no Sound Breathing bonus, so it works on any style. It sits at Tier S on the cross-source clan tier list, in the Supreme bracket (0.1% per spin — a coin-flip chance of any Supreme clan takes 693 spins).
Uzui clan skills
- Enhanced Hearing — Stomp to send out a ring-shaped shockwave; everyone caught is marked with a golden aura and takes 25% more damage from you for 10 seconds. V0.17 gave the ring 20% more range.
- Vital Draw — Rolls one of three random effects — Heart heals 150 health at once; Muscle dodges the next 5 M1 hits and adds +15% Additional Damage Factor with fists for 11 seconds (6 before V0.2); Lungs adds +150 Max Stamina for 15 seconds and restores 150 stamina.
- Musical Score — Records an enemy skill; one press starts and commits the recording. When the recorded skill comes back, the attacker is stunned and you dodge it for 2 seconds. How long a recording lasts is not confirmed.
Uzui clan passives
- Enhanced Speed — +5% Movement Speed Factor.
- Indomitable Will Immunity — Other clans' Indomitable Will does not affect you.
- Tactical Intellect — +25% quest EXP — the strongest levelling passive in the game.
- Pain Resistance — You are not slowed at low health.
- Poison Conversion — Full poison immunity (upgraded from partial in V0.17).

Best for
Technical PvP, fist and stamina-heavy builds, and levelling thanks to the quest EXP bonus. It has no Sound Breathing bonus, so it works on any style.
Recent patch impact
V0.2 added the 2-second dodge to Musical Score and cut its cooldown from 56.25 to 42.19 seconds; Vital Draw's Muscle now lasts 11 seconds instead of 6.
Keep Uzui or reroll?
Uzui has earned a permanent slot: Technical PvP, fist and stamina-heavy builds, and levelling thanks to the quest EXP bonus. It has no Sound Breathing bonus, so it works on any style. Rerolling a Supreme is burning a lottery ticket — the only justification is a style-specific roll that matches the breathing you already locked in. The reroll guide has the full stopping rules.
How to roll the Uzui clan
Uzui sits in the Supreme bracket: 0.1% of every spin — which works out to roughly 1,000 spins per Supreme on average, and any single name among the four is rarer still. A coin-flip chance at the bracket takes 693 spins; a 90% shot takes 2,302. Codes are the fastest spin source, with levelling milestones and quest rewards behind them. Most of your spins will come from codes and milestone rewards rather than levelling — saving them for a planned batch beats spending two at a time. And since V0.18 a reroll keeps your clan skill-tree progress, so even a future upgrade no longer means rebuilding that investment.
Other Supreme clans
Building around Uzui
Uzui rewards staying busy: the +25% quest EXP makes it the levelling clan, Vital Draw's three effects reward frequent activation, and Musical Score's recording turns the biggest enemy skill into your counter. Fist builds get the most from Vital Draw's Muscle, but any stamina-heavy kit works.
What Uzui plays like in real fights
Tier letters describe value; this describes experience. Rolling Uzui changes your average fight in specific ways: your 3 active skills (Enhanced Hearing, Vital Draw, Musical Score) become buttons you press every fight, on top of your breathing or art kit. The 5 passives (Enhanced Speed, Indomitable Will Immunity, Tactical Intellect, and more) run in the background of every exchange. In practice that means technical PvP, fist and stamina-heavy builds, and levelling thanks to the quest EXP bonus. It has no Sound Breathing bonus, so it works on any style. The honest test: play ten fights with the clan unequipped conceptually — the moments where you miss a skill or a passive are exactly the moments Uzui was earning its slot.
Uzui against the meta
Against the current V0.2-era meta: Uzui holds its place because its value survives the common counters — the four S-tier clans all do, which is what the tier actually measures. Poison teams (Kocho, Iguro, Insect builds) punish poison-immune kits like this one by simply choosing different damage. Counter-heavy duelists (Soyama, Shockwave users) punish predictable openers, which is why mobility passives carry unexpected defensive value. And zone-control demons (Shabana) punish anyone who has to fight inside their terms — Uzui's active kit at least gives you an answer to press.
Uzui vs every other Supreme clan
| Clan | Tier | Kit shape | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Uzui (this page) | S | 3 skills + 5 passives | Technical PvP, fist and stamina-heavy builds, and levelling thanks to the quest EXP bonus. It has no Sound Breathing bonus, so it works on any style. |
| Kamado | S | 4 skills + 5 passives | The safest all-round pick for almost any build. Demons get the most from it: Sun Immunity frees a gear slot and Regen Adrenal only works on the demon path. V0.2 removed Headbutt's guard break, but the stat package still leads. |
| Rengoku | S | 2 skills + 4 passives | Flame Breathing and aggressive Katana builds; it has the highest damage bonus of any clan, and Ignition Hit makes every basic-attack string open with a burn. |
| Soyama | S | 3 skills + 2 passives | Counter-heavy PvP duelists who win by reading attacks; on the demon path it pairs well with Shockwave. The shared counter cooldown means you cannot stack it with other counter tools. |
Reading the table: kit shape predicts playstyle before stats do. Active-skill clans (press something, get a spike) reward engagement; passive-only clans reward consistency. When two clans serve the same build, the tiebreaker is usually the stat line above — health and damage factor compound across every fight, while a single-use skill only pays when its window appears.
Uzui clan FAQ
What rarity is the Uzui clan?
Uzui is Supreme: 0.1% chance per spin. That bracket contains 4 named clans, so landing Uzui specifically is rarer than the bracket number suggests.
What tier is Uzui and is it worth keeping?
Tier S on the cross-source median. Yes — keep it: Technical PvP, fist and stamina-heavy builds, and levelling thanks to the quest EXP bonus. It has no Sound Breathing bonus, so it works on any style.
How many spins to get the Uzui clan?
The bracket math: a 50% chance of any Supreme clan takes 693 spins at 0.1% per spin — about 1,000 spins on average for one Supreme, and any specific Supreme clan is rarer still. Since V0.18, rerolling keeps your clan skill-tree progress, so the grind is safer than it was at launch.
Which breathing style pairs with Uzui?
Insect Breathing — poison passives stack with Insect's poison kit.
Does Uzui work for demons?
Yes — clan passives carry over to the demon path unchanged. Only style-specific bonuses stop mattering, since demons use blood demon arts instead of breathing.
How Uzui compares in its bracket
Inside the Supreme bracket, Uzui's identity is its mix of active skills and always-on passives. The bracket decision comes down to build matching: a Supreme clan that boosts your chosen style outperforms a mismatched roll from any rarity, because the style-specific damage factors multiply every hit of your main kit while generic stats only add a flat edge. Check the full clan table for side-by-side stats, and the tier list page for how published rankings treat the whole bracket.
